The Founder — Daya Veer
Offing Media was founded by Daya Veer, a broadcast television professional who spent nearly thirteen years in international production before establishing the company in Singapore in 2015.
Daya’s career began with a post-graduate diploma in Film and Television Production from the Film and Television Institute of Tamil Nadu. He went on to hold senior production roles across some of Asia’s most demanding broadcast environments — producing Responsible Business Television for Bloomberg TV and Business Television for CNBC as Head of Production at Global Initiatives, directing camera crews across multiple countries. Earlier in his career he managed post-production for Eco 4 the World — a UNEP co-produced series broadcast on CNBC — and produced content for ESPN STAR Sports across mobile and internet broadcast platforms.

That broadcast background is what Daya brought to Offing Media when he founded the company. Broadcast television does not forgive errors. Content reaching millions of viewers is subject to editorial, legal and technical standards that most corporate video never encounters. Getting the script right before the shoot, the shoot right before the edit, and the edit right before delivery — that discipline has not changed since Offing Media was founded. It applies to every brief we take on, from a ninety-second social media video to a comprehensive pharmaceutical compliance training series.
What We Believe

How We Work
Offing Media is a Singapore-based production company. Every project is managed from our office at 61 Ubi Ave 1, Singapore — by a dedicated producer who remains your single point of contact from brief to delivery.
We do not outsource creative direction, scripting or editing to offshore teams. We do not use AI-automated cutting tools as a substitute for editorial judgement. We do not hand your brand to a junior team while senior staff focus on larger accounts.
Our six-stage production process:
Stage 1 — Brief and Discovery: We review your video brief, intended audience, key message, distribution platform and any regulatory or compliance requirements relevant to your industry. For safety and training video, this includes a review against WSH Act requirements, MOH Healthcare Advertising Guidelines, MAS content obligations or ISM Code training requirements — before scripting begins.
Stage 2 — Script and Storyboard: Our writers draft the script based on the approved brief. Every script is written for video — structured for visual communication, not for reading on a page. Storyboards are produced for animation and complex live-action productions before any production resource is committed. Client approval is required before moving to production.
Stage 3 — Pre-Production: Location scouting, shoot scheduling, crew briefing, talent coordination, permit applications and equipment configuration. For productions in regulated environments — pharmaceutical facilities, construction sites, maritime vessels, government buildings — pre-production includes site-specific safety induction for our crew and coordination with the client’s safety and facilities teams.
Stage 4 — Production: Our crew films on your site, at any Singapore location your brief requires, or in a controlled studio environment. We bring professional camera, audio, lighting and support equipment matched to the production scope. Our crew works within your operational schedule — minimising disruption to your business.
Stage 5 — Post-Production: Editorial assembly, colour grading, audio mixing, motion graphics, voiceover integration and subtitle production. Two rounds of client revisions are included in all standard packages. Additional language versions are produced in parallel where multilingual delivery is required.
Stage 6 — Delivery and Distribution Support: Final files are delivered in all agreed formats — web, broadcast, LMS, social media or presentation. We advise on platform-specific requirements and provide guidance on how to maximise the reach and shelf life of your finished video.
